What is SDB Technology?

SDB (Steel Density Board) is a revolutionary composite wood panel technology developed by Oxford Tech LLC and manufactured by Steel Wood Industries FZCO at their facility in National Industries Park, Dubai, UAE. SDB panels are engineered from 100% post-consumer recycled wood waste — recovered from used furniture, construction offcuts, demolition timber, pallet wood, and industrial wood residuals.

Unlike conventional MDF and particleboard which rely on virgin timber harvested from forests, SDB technology diverts millions of tonnes of wood waste from landfills, preventing methane emissions from decomposition while locking biogenic carbon into the built environment for 30-50 years. This dual-commodity model simultaneously produces premium building panels and generates verified carbon capture under the NEDCCS (Natural Economic Direct Carbon Capture System) framework submitted to the UNFCCC.
